What this website collects.

Browsing these pages does not require an account, and the site does not run advertising or build an advertising profile of you. Two things are collected: an aggregate record of page views, described next, and whatever you choose to type into the contact form.

Page analytics.

Every page on this site loads an analytics counter. For each page you open it records the page address and any search or campaign parameters in it, the page that referred you, your device type, operating system and browser, and the country you are in, which is derived from your network address. It is designed to work without cross-site tracking cookies, the records are counted in aggregate, and they are not used to build a profile of you or joined to anything you submit through the form.

The contact form.

When you submit the form, the name, email address, message and enquiry type you entered are sent to our server and delivered to us by email through a third-party email delivery provider. Your email address is set as the reply address so we can respond.

To keep the form from being abused, your network address is used for a short-lived rate limit and may be passed to an anti-abuse challenge service. It is used for that purpose only, and is not used to build a profile of you.

The form always sends your message to our server first. If our server cannot deliver it — or if it cannot be reached at all — the form then opens a pre-filled message in your own email client so your message is not lost. In the first case we have already received what you entered; in the second we may not have, because the request did not complete. Either way, a message opened in your email client is sent by you, from your own account, and reaches us as ordinary email.

Contact messages.

Whether you use the form or email [email protected] directly, your message is handled as ordinary business correspondence for investor, partnership or product discussions, and is kept only as long as that correspondence needs it.

Business data we hold.

The measurement catalog behind Basket Bee consists of retail product and pricing information published by retailers. It is not personal data and it is not connected to anything on this website.

Future product privacy.

Any future customer-facing product will carry its own privacy policy covering accounts, access, retention and analytics for that product specifically. This page covers this website only.
